The Becorn Calendar is a contemporary adaptation of the traditional Celtic calendar, with roots within the agricultural practices of pre-Christian Eire. It’s a lunisolar calendar, which means that it’s based mostly on each the cycles of the moon and the solar.
The Becorn Calendar is split into 13 months of 28 days every, with a further 5-day intercalary interval on the finish of the 12 months, for a complete of twelve months. The months are named after the Irish names for the seasons and the agricultural actions related to them.
