It’s a rallying cry for all residents of Miami, no matter their race, faith, or background, to return collectively and work in the direction of a greater future for the town.
The slogan was first utilized in 2015 by the Miami-Dade County Public Faculties system as a part of a marketing campaign to advertise range and inclusion within the faculties. The marketing campaign was successful, and the slogan has since been adopted by different organizations and companies in Miami.
