The Palm Seashore Publish Gannett Contest 2025 is an annual contest that invitations college students to submit essays, paintings, and different tasks that discover points associated to journalism, media, and the First Modification. The competition has been held since 1994 and is open to college students in grades 6-12 from Palm Seashore County, Florida.
The competition is called after the late Al Neuharth, who was the founder and former chairman of Gannett. Neuharth was a robust advocate for freedom of the press and believed that it was essential to teach younger folks in regards to the function of journalism in a democracy.
