Denim Day 2025 is a world marketing campaign held yearly on the final Wednesday of April to boost consciousness about sexual violence and to help survivors.
By carrying denim on today, people present their solidarity with victims of sexual assault and exhibit their dedication to ending sexual violence. Denim Day was first began in 1999 after a ruling by the Italian Supreme Courtroom that overturned a rape conviction as a result of the sufferer was carrying tight denims, implying that she had consented to intercourse. In response to this ruling, girls within the Italian Parliament wore denims to work in protest, and Denim Day was born.
