Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister and civil rights activist who grew to become a frontrunner within the African-American Civil Rights Motion. He’s greatest recognized for his position within the Montgomery bus boycott and his “I Have a Dream” speech, delivered on the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963. King was assassinated in 1968, however his legacy continues to encourage folks world wide.
