The Scholastic Writing Contest is a prestigious writing competitors for college kids in grades 7-12. The competition is sponsored by the Scholastic Company and is without doubt one of the largest and most revered writing competitions in the USA.
The Scholastic Writing Contest is open to college students in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. College students can submit their writing in one in every of three classes: fiction, nonfiction, or poetry. A panel of judges, composed of skilled educators and writers, evaluates the submissions. The highest-scoring entries are awarded prizes, together with scholarships, publication in Scholastic magazines, and journeys to New York Metropolis.
