The tour is called after the Treaty Oak, a well-known tree in Austin that’s mentioned to be the location of a peace treaty between the Comanche and Anglo settlers in 1839. Dylan has an extended historical past with the Treaty Oak, having carried out beneath its branches on a number of events. The 2025 tour would be the first time Dylan has launched into a serious live performance tour since 2019.
